My journey to becoming a dog groomer and opening House of Hounds was a natural progression from a lifelong love for dogs. For years, I felt the pull towards this path, and when you know, you know! It was an itch I had to scratch, transforming a deep affection for canines into a dedicated career. This passion is the foundation of House of Hounds, ensuring every dog receives care rooted in genuine adoration.
Our unique touch: nurturing confidence and comfort
What sets House of Hounds apart is our deep understanding of a dog's boundaries and limits. We strive to make every grooming session a positive, confidence-building experience. We strive to (where possible) use cruelty-free, vegan, and palm oil-free products, demonstrating our commitment to both your pet's well-being and ethical practices. We continuously invest in the best for our services, ensuring a luxurious and respectful treatment every time.
Building bonds and easing anxieties
What I love most about grooming dogs and running House of Hounds is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with both my clients and their beloved pets. Becoming a familiar, comforting face for the dogs helps transform what can sometimes be a stressful experience into a relaxing one. With over five years of experience as a dental nurse, I've also been able to incorporate my teeth cleaning skills, offering Emmi-Pet ultrasonic treatments and educating owners on canine dental hygiene.
A fun fact about me
My very first dog was named Missy Elliott, showing my early appreciation for unique personalities! I'm a 'big' dog lover and hope to one day welcome a deerhound into my family.
